Harvest Project helps people in need by bringing together the resources of the community to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support that empowers each person to take positive steps in their lives. For more than 20 years, Harvest Project has been reaching out to individuals and families to help them cope with critical life circumstances such as family break-ups, illness, job loss, and poverty.
This past year, 40% of clients were single-parents, 40% were new residents with their families and 20% were individuals with serious health challenges.
Harvest Project nurtures the potential of every client and coaches them towards a more positive future. The core of our mission is the Christian responsibility to love our neighbours and care for those who are experiencing loss and those who are in need.
180 volunteers, 3 full-time and 3 part-time staff members, and Board of Directors serve our neighbours from our client-care hub at 1073 Roosevelt Crescent, North Vancouver.
