Bryan Yu
Deputy Chief Economist, Central 1
As Deputy Chief Economist for Central 1 Credit Union, Bryan oversees the economic analysis team and is author and editor of many of its flagship research reports and weekly notes. He speaks regularly at credit union and industry events and is frequently contacted by media to provide national and provincial economic commentary. Prior to Central 1, Bryan worked as a housing economist at the BC Real Estate Association and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and as an academic researcher in immigration economics. He currently serves on the boards of the B.C. Paraplegic Foundation and Canadian Association for Business Economics.
Richard Butterworth

Richard joined BlueShore Financial as CFO in 2017, and leads the organization’s finance, treasury, legal, risk and compliance, and group businesses (Commercial Lending, Credit, Broker Services, BlueShore Capital Corp. and Leasing). He has over 25 years of business experience in finance and shared services, operations, sales and client management across a number of industry sectors, including financial services, residential real estate services, travel management services, and professional services.
